Mining Tips
Your highest-Mining pawn should mine valuable ores (plasteel, gold, components) — skill boosts per-tile yield. Early game, mine steel veins first; components are rarer and worth more per tile.
RimWorld Mining FAQ
Why do my miners get less ore than expected?
Low Mining skill reduces yield per tile. Level up a dedicated miner for best returns.
Are deep drills worth it?
Yes for late-game steel and components, but they need power and a skilled operator.
